Klarna Engineering presents Toronto's first Live Series!

Klarna Engineering Live Series:Toronto is for Software Engineers who want to hear about the engineering challenges and solutions that resulted in Klarna becoming the largest private FinTech company in the EU valued at $45.6 Billion.

In 2015 Klarna Engineering started its own internal conference for Product & Engineering. Every year it has grown, and the most recent event had 800 attendees. You can see some of the talks here. Klarna Engineering Live Series is a spin off of this internal conference, where we bring a couple of talks to your hometown.

The event also offers an opportunity to network and interact with other like minded engineers in your home city as well as getting to know what it's like to work at Klarna.

Please join us, share some food and drinks and meet with some of the Klarna Engineering Leadership team and engineers responsible for achieving this level of growth.

End of Webpack Hegemony

For years, Webpack has been the undisputed king of the hill, having solutions and plugins for virtually every use case – but with complex setup and slow performance. Prepare yourself for JavaScript fatigue – join us for a brief history of bundlers and what the future looks like.

Joel Arvidsson

Joel is an architect at Klarna in the App domain and has been with Klarna for 2+ years.

*No Klarna was harmed during the production of this talk.

Elisia is a Security Expert for the App domain. She joined Klarna recently after a long tour in the music industry and aims to take a bite at the banking system. When she is not building defenses, patching flaws and improving processes, she tries to hack (almost) everything that surrounds her.
